Tokyo concept is exactly right (and has been btw since long before the internet - I can give you a few examples of hyper-focused businesses operating out of Des Moines sized towns and smaller if you are interested…in fact I would say that all the German post war Hidden Champions - amd not just manufacturing - are located in towns that nobody has ever heard of).
